The Importance of Great Customer Service

Everything we do in life is an experience.

Customer ServiceFrom our daily routine, to heading to our place of work. Taking a vacation or planning some well deserved time away from the office. Even just taking a trip to the grocery store, collecting the kids from school or heading out for a nice meal…. Every minute of every day, you are experiencing something.

We go into auto pilot mode and  we don’t tend to remember each and every experience because our lives are on a constant, however, when we do remember it seems to be the really good and the really bad that stand out! These are the ones that have made an impact. They are the occasions that you will talk about and share with others. These experiences will no doubt influence someone else to go, see or do what you have done. To try or buy what you have purchased or on the other hand, avoid at all costs!

When we want to try something new, many of us like to turn to others for recommendations. These recommendations are formed based on experience.

When we look at recommendations on a business perspective we are looking for good communication, understanding, resolution satisfaction and efficiency. The key criteria to a happy client or customer.

If a business does not provide excellent customer service, there is no doubt that it will suffer.

In such economic times, companies need to be addressing their before and after care experiences and ensuring that they do everything that they can to encourage repeat custom and referrals.
